In the role of systems safety engineer, you will systematically work to ensure that products and systems do not harm people, property, or the environment throughout their lifecycle. You will be involved from early concepts and requirements to commissioning, further development, and decommissioning. Product safety and systems safety are intertwined, where you consider both individual component requirements and how the entire system behaves as a whole.

You will conduct risk analyses and safety assessments, develop and formulate requirements for systems safety, and develop and follow up on safety plans and methods. An important part of the role is to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and to document safety work in a structured manner.

In your daily work, you will closely collaborate with systems engineers, analysts, technical writers, ILS managers, and trainers. Together, you will work with complex technical systems related to sensors, optics, lasers, where safety aspects are followed up and updated based on current data and analyses. The work is characterized by standards, clear processes, and a systematic approach to safety.

• At least five years of experience in systems safety with a focus on product and systems safety, preferably in complex systems of systems such as in the automotive industry, railways, biomedicine, nuclear power, or aviation
• Good knowledge of ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) and how safety work is linked to lifecycle and maintenance issues
• Documented experience working both strategically and operationally with safety issues, including risk analyses and safety plans
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you have experience with standards such as ISO 15288, H PROGSÄK, and H SYSTSÄK, Incose principles, as well as relevant NATO standards.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary
